Behind the scenes at our exclusive event

On October 28th Amrika hosted an exclusive event held at the prestigious Athenaeum Hotel and Residents in our very own luxury apartment.

The date marked a special moment for us at Amrika, since this was a year from when we launched our website, which ultimately transformed our previous private appointment based showroom, located in the heart of Mayfair just moments away, into a new digital marketplace.

To celebrate the occasion, we invited industry leaders, influencers, publicists and guests alike to create an intimate setting and discover carefully handpicked collections from the wide range of luxury Indo-Western designers available on our website.

We had a great turn out and was fabulous to welcome guests like influencer and blogger Inakshi Harneja (@vougishaffair), blogger Tanvi, Kalpesh Patel founder of Asian Wealth Magazine and The Founders Club, Shika Bodani, founder of Front Row London, Indya Ahmed, from Asiana TV plus many more familiar faces from the Amrika network.

The event was a great success featuring designers such as Ridhi Mehra, SVA, Anand Kabra and Archana Rao. It was lovely to see the carefully selected guestlist view, touch and even try on a curated range of our fabulous collections which we hold on our website. 

The feedback was unanimous! - The pieces are ‘amazing’, ‘so chic and stylish’, ‘refreshingly different’, ‘the perfect balance between a modern sense of style essentially  maintains the Asian DNA running through’ and ‘so easy to wear without compromising the wow factor’.

Ideal for chic, elegant and stylish fashionistas, Amrika combines western styles with Indian sensibilities, blurring previous stereotypes associated with South Asian fashion and infusing the ethnic aesthetic, embroideries and fabrics with a Western sense of style.
