Celebrate Diwali with Amrika
As the celebrations continue ahead of Diwali on November 12th, we wanted to take a moment to look back at all the amazing events and moment we have shared over the past few weeks.
This Diwali season, Amrika has had the pleasure of not only hosting our own Diwali Dinner at the iconic Kanishka by Atul Kochhar restaurant in Mayfair, but also style some luxury household names, and attend some of the industries biggest events. So without further a due, lets take a trip down memory lane and remember some of these treasured memories as we see who wore what for Diwali 2023.
DRESSING THE TEAM FOR THE CONDE NAST X CARTIER DIWALI PARTY HOSTED BY DIVIA THANI
On October 16th Amrika had the honour of dressing the Conde Nast team for the Conde Nast Traveller's Diwali Party. The night was hosted by Divia Thani and in partnership with Cartier, held at London's The Savoy Hotel.
The entire evening was filled with love, laughter and light, in true Diwali style as more than 300 guests attended from across the British Asian Community. There were musical performances, nonstop dancing, incredible food, all against a beautiful backdrop of jaw-dropping flower arrangements.
For the second year in a row, we had the pleasure of dressing some of the Conde Nast team who attended, including Shivani Pau who wore this rose pink organza lehenga by Yashodhara and Mira Manek who styled this elegant embroidered anarkali set by Mahima Mahajan.
Jackie, our fabulous founder also attended and looked breathtaking in this ITRH Kaftan which received so many compliments throughout the night.
THE AMRIKA DIWALI DINNER AT KANISHKA BY ATUL KOCHHAR
On October 19th, we took Kanishka's in Mayfair and invited an amazing array of talent to attend our Diwali dinner. The evening started with champagne as our guests arrived, all dressed in Amrika.
It was so lovely not only to see these beautiful pieces - from designers such as ITRH, Mahima Mahajan, Elan, Ridhi Mehra and more - on these fabulous women, but also celebrate all together, around one table.
Everyone looked simply stunning, and complimented each other on how well each piece reflected their own personalities and styles.

THE AMRIKA X HARRODS TAKEOVER / PRESS DAY WITH MYWHQ
The day started early, as our amazing team curated together a gorgeous display of some of our most requested and best-selling pieces.
Throughout the day we had some press appointments with industry professionals, such as Sachini Dilanka, Maja Malnar, Saroop Sangha from Sheerluxe and others.
It was a true pleasure to hear such great feedback on these pieces, touch-base on upcoming events and trends for the New Year, as we discussed styling tips for how to wear some of these gorgeous pieces for the Diwali Season.
PRESS STYLING & MEDIA COVERAGE
Beyond our physical events we have of-course also been very busy behind the scenes and online as we celebrate some of our recent media coverage. This includes a lovely feature with Saroop who talked about how she is celebrating Diwali with Sheerluxe, and her favourite look from our collection which was this exquisite three piece Sari set by Anand Kabra.
We also had the pleasure of being featured in Hello Magazine, as they spotlighted 6 stylish fashion insiders to find out what to wear for Diwali this year. Jackie, described how she would be celebrating ( amongst our amazing Amrika occasions ) with her family and what she look forward to wearing this year, which undoubtedly has to be something from our curated collection of handpicked pieces from ITRH with their fun and fabulous sparkles.
Beyond media coverage we also have been styling some amazing influencers this Diwali for other events, such as Nikkita Chadha for the Dishoom Dinner and who also will be wearing Amrika to the GQ awards last this month.
So, it's safe to say that we have defiantly been busy over the past few months, whilst sending out daily orders from our amazing online customers. However not a day goes past without us being so grateful for all the amazing feedback and support we have received, so we would really like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing followers and community.
